Summer Show 2026
unit-code
Welcome to one of the world’s most extraordinary architectural exhibitions. The Bartlett’s annual Summer Show shares the creative, radical and thoughtful work of our students with a global audience. Presented both online and in person, the exhibition offers multiple ways to experience the breadth of contemporary architectural thinking and explore what architecture is – and what it could become.
This year, nearly 1,000 students exhibit their work across our physical and digital exhibition spaces, showcasing projects that address some of the most urgent questions facing society, cities and the environment. Visitors can explore ambitious proposals that reimagine housing, education, culture, infrastructure, industry and public life, alongside experimental investigations into materials, technologies, histories and future forms of practice.
Our dual-format exhibition combines installations and displays throughout the school with an extensive online platform, allowing audiences around the world to engage with student work in depth. Together, these spaces reveal the diversity of approaches, ideas and voices that define the Bartlett School of Architecture today.
As part of UCL’s bicentenary celebrations, the exhibition reflects a longer history: a university founded on access, openness and the belief that education should be available to everyone, regardless of background. The work on display looks both outward and forward, demonstrating how the next generation of architects and designers are responding to contemporary challenges while imagining new possibilities for the future.
